hi...i've never posted a message before, but as an amateur collector of traditional songs, your database has always been tremendously helpful to me. there is a song i heard on the radio several years ago (on fiona ritchie's "thistle and shamrock," on npr) i believe it begins like this-- rose, rose, rose, rose will i ever see thee wed? i will marry at your will, sire, at your will it's sung in a round, to a tune that resembles "hey, ho, nobody's home." i think there are other verses, but i haven't been able to find the lyrics in your database, and i haven't been able to find a recording of it anywhere. if anybody knows where i might find all the lyrics, and a cd, i would be very grateful thanx caroline
