None of the above gives an "early" date - I believe Vin and his cousin Ray Dales resurrected this song / tune in the 1970's. Some very strange notes & really difficult to sing. As usual Vin doesn't get the credit for all the investigation and resurrection /regeneration of many forgotten songs, as, many high-profile performers/ groups sang these songs without giving credit to Vin - in the safe knowledge / beleiving there was no copyright involved - correct traditional.
Vin refers to himself as a revivalist,regarding folk song and collection.

Vin does it on Bandalised with even more differences. He doesn't say where he got it from.
I don't know when Bandalised was released but certainly Vin was singing this in the 70's / 80's - I believe he revived a "dead" song.
