Cultural issues are not a consideration. Saving lives is. the logic of that statement escapes me... the major source of AIDs in Africa is married men giving it to their wives and children... And should I conclude that the spread of AIDS in the 1980s would have been prevented because gay men couldn't marry... oh, wait... that's what they are fighting for NOW.. along with gay women. being gay is not the cause of AIDS/HIV infection... unsafe practices that expose people to already contaminated body fluids... like blood transfusions or needle sticks or having sex withan infected person. so are we to expect that uninfected gay people who marry and do not engage in unsafe activites will suddenly develop HIV infections??? WTF?!?
