I use crib sheets now and then when I'm trying out a new song at the local sessions. It's better than having that long pregnant pause trying to remember the next line or missing out a few verses. For me, songs need to be honed in front of a live audience. No matter how much I practise a new song it's never really broken in till it's sung before two or more people. I rest my case, your 'honer'
