If you mean Guildford in Surrey, England you could also try Dorking Folk Club which I think is still held in the Watermill pub on Wednesday evenings. Dorking is about 10 miles east of Guildford. This has always been a friendly club with a lot of local musicians. I used to run it for a few years but left England about 10 years ago. It's possible Andy Smith, who's a fine guitarist, still runs it. Another good option is Cobham Folk Club, just a short drive up the A3. I think that is on Fridays. This has always had a very high standard and good guests. Peace, mcmoo
