Can anyone please help with words for this? A friend of mine found these words quoted in "A Maritime History of Devon". It refers to a ship called "Ocean Queen" which carrried emigrant passengers from Devon, probably Bideford, to Quebec. The words quoted are:
"And now my boys we're outward bound,
Young girls do go a-weepin',
We're outward bound for Quebec Town,
Across the western ocean".
Sorry I haven't mastered the line spacing yet, only a beginner!! Any information welcome, thanks in advance.
