P.S. to previous post: There are several varieties of Wainscot Cap, if you have a Menard's in your area, their SKU for the kind I use is 4175083. It comes in 8 foot lengths, I am down to my last foot, having used it to replace broken or missing covers for both Schmidt and Chromaharp instruments. After cutting off the right length, you will need a power sander to round off both ends. Then drill the holes for the mounting screws, spray paint, and you're in business.
