Since we've had some cumulative songs, here's one that reminds me of the one "sung" by Kiwi. Learned it in a folk club in England (Nuneaton, I believe). An unsuspecting young lass was induced to climb up on a chair (no, not yours truly!) and the song-leader demonstrated the song on or at her.
TOE-TAPPER
Touched her on the toe, that be my share
That be my toe-tapper 'n you can play there
Toe-tapper loves my dear
The more I loves, my dear draw near
Touched her on the knee, that be my share
That be my knee-knacker, you can play there
Knee-knacker, toe-tapper loves my dear
The more I loves, my dear draw near
Touched her on the thigh, that be my share That be my thigh-thacker, you can play there
Thigh-thacker, knee-knacker, toe-tapper loves my dear
The more I loves, my dear draw near
Touched her on the "a-hem"...
That be my funny-thinger...
Touched her on the navel...
That be my navel-stringer...
Touched her on the breast..
That be my breast-plate...
Touched her on the chin...
That be my chinny-chops...
Touched her on the lips...
That be my chatter-box...
Touched her on the nose...
That be my snot-box...
Touched her on the eyes...
That be my out-lookers...
Touched her on the head, that be my share
That be by brain-box, 'n you can play there
brain-box, out-lookers, snot-box, chatter-box, chinny-chops, breast-plate, navel-stringer, funny thinger, thigh-thacker, knee-knacker, toe-tapper
loves my dear
The more I loves, my dear draw near
This is the way I remember it, would appreciate corrections.
Cheers, June
