Hi, "do they communicate I wonder?" Wendy, judging from the way my mother's medicine prescription regularly turn out to be bungled when I fetch them from the GP's practice, I would say the answer is: Hardly. Curiously, when prescriptions and appointments were all done in doctor's handwriting, which the layman would consider unreadable, there hardly seemed to be any problems, whereas it appears that now that everything is communicated by computer, coordination has become much more difficult . Then again, that's probably an "unwarranted generalisation" (Does that translate correctly into English idiom?) But at least, when we're feeling the urge to drag their keyboards away from them and fill in the forms ourselves, we'll now know it's not just us. Bye Mysha
