I am forbidden to read the Discworld books in bed, as they make me laugh. Today I discovered that the small book of recipes for sweets is not where it should be, so I will switch the sorting to the kitchen tomorrow in an effort to find out where it has gone. I have been playing records today - the vinyl ones, as I can get to the music centre. I have never taken to buying cds like I used to acquire LPs. I have opera, folk, pop, classical, comic - and now I can get to it and play it again. I was quite surprised that the turntable works. I have space on the shelves and more carpet is visible in the dining room.
