A shop in Port Sudan sold ice cream (cones, pints, ...) and typewriters (including new electric ones. This was in 1966). Perfect place as you sit at one of the small round tables cooling off to contemplate the impulse purchase of a piece of office machinery, or just a new typewriter ribbon.
