GUEST,Mike Wilson: The Wilson Family wilsons@ Sage Gateshead March 26th (25) RE: wilsons@ Sage Gateshead March 26th 22 Mar 15

Hi All,

Thanks for reminding folks about this very special event for the Family, much appreciated. And thanks for the nice comments about the BBC TV feature...we thought it looked and sounded pretty good too!

There are a handful of tickets left...hope to see some of you there...as noted by brother Tom some time back, the first half of the concert will be a Graeme Miles Song Cycle, with slides and dialogue; in the main, covering the songs we put together with Graeme in 1982/83 for our first full album "Horumarye", the first album completely dedicated to the songs of Graeme. We will be joined at the end of that set, by two performers who have championed Graeme's work more than any, over the past 55 years or so....

The second set, will be a mix of our repertoire from over our 40 years as Seven Continuously Singing Siblings!!....a few surprise friends (i.e. friends we never new we had!! ;-)are likely to step up for that one too....

Please also note, The Welly Folk Club will, for one night only, be closed this Thursday 26th March, as most of the club will be joining us for our special night at The Sage Gateshead:

The Wilson Family Official Website

Cheers,

Mike
