Howdy Dave T, I record myself too so I can remember what I played, I'm older now and sometimes I can't remember a cool passage I stumble onto from one day 'till the next. At least until I've played it a few more times. I use one of those guitarist recorders you can slow down when you're learning a new lick. I like your idea and I don't know about you but I don't like my own vocals as much as I like my guitar. Gene
