A new series of Poldark is currently on TV.
I think the song in question is from the original book, written by the author- Winston Graham - though he may have sourced the idea from the tradition, and the setting was by Mike O'Connor , a much-loved member of the present-day Cornish folk and story-telling community.
Please, Catters, correct me if I'm wrong.
