There will be an event to commemorate the legacy of Birtley Folk Club on 16 October at Hartlepool Folk Festival. Hosted by Doreen and Brian Henderson with festival patrons The Wilsons, it will feature many guests and friends of the club including Bob Davenport, Johnny Handle, Benny Graham and Pete Wood. Doc Rowe will provide historic archive films of the Elliotts. The following day we will be Screening Death of a Miner, the 1967 film about Jack Elliott.
