Yes Bretton Hall was a music college I think too and I remember being at the folk events on occasion up in the rafters a barn maybe? Wakefield had contemporary folk with Gifford Rolfe and Andrew Mullins at a venue in a park building off Denby Dale rd Wakefield witha dedicated following who didnt go many other place Woolpack was famous barn dance venue centre of Wakfield and had the Mathews Brothers semi resident for some time early 70s ray
