I think my favorite of Bill's children's songs was the wonderful "Three Craws" ... There were thr-r-ree craws settin' on a wa', Settin' on a wa', settin' on a wa', There were the-r-ree craws settin' on a wa' On a cold and a fr-r-rosty mor-r-r-rnin'. etc His sheer gusto and fun caught me at a formative moment. I'd just gotten a guitar and been singing Burl Ives songs. Bill was endlessly helpful and generous in his unique way. A wonderful man. Bob
