Just to say thanks to all the singers from Belfast, Ardara, Dorset (!) Boyle and Sligo, amongst other places, who turned up to make this session at Davitts of Drumkeeran, an excellent event- our guest Rita Gallagher was on top form and we had a few tunes as well. The pub was under a bit of pressure due to Francis Davitt being in hospital after an accident playing football, but still coped with a decent crowd- thanks! Next meeting will be on August 2 - same time- same venue... NB Part of the event was filmed and should be available soon by putting 'video singing sessions- facebook' into Google, Mozilla or whatever....thanks Sean- this may be of interest to others who like to see what happens at an Irish singing session- mind you this was a good one!
