Do the ads and magazine covers have that effect on you, Steve? I wouldn't have guessed that about you... The way that people feel about themselves is mostly regulated by the people around them. Whatever they may see in magazines, on TV, or in the movies, they tend to try fit in . Teachers dress like other teachers, bankers like other bankers. The beauty/fashion industry is there to make that possible, but most people don't try to recreate the high fashion stuff in their own lives.
