Hello, thanks to everyone who has so quickly and so far tried to help. No it isn't the Lea Nicholson album which they cut at roughly the same time as they were over here In England 1971 conjuring folk rock magic. I get the feeling this one's an Irish only release, I'd have said about 1974-77. I've never seen the record in any G&T discography which was why I was keen to include it.
For all completists there are some dodgy sound wise, but potentially brilliant music wise, clips from BBC sessions on Youtube including stuff with Dr Strangely Strange and half of King Crimson. I also reckon there are unreleased tracks and alternate versions lurking on a dusty shelf somewhere.
Ah well, I'll just have to ask the people themselves if they recall. Meantime I'll try the most knowledgeable person I know on Irish rock.
Of course anything I find out I'll report here.
