...although it sounds very old, this is a tune written by Mark Simos. Mark is a professor at the Berklee School of Music. It is an absolutely awesome tune and I would love to decipher some more of the lyrics so I can sit around on MY front porch and pick and sing the tune. I have figured out most of the lyrics based on the Newtown recording from 2011...just a few words I can't quite get. I saw Newtown perform this at the 2015 Busybird Bluegrass Festival in Berkshire, NY and I bought the CD within minutes!
