GUEST,Saul Chord Req: Me and My Goose (Arlo Guthrie) (13) RE: Chord Req: Me and My Goose (Arlo Guthrie) 31 Aug 15

Hi, I've figured out the song on the piano (https://soundcloud.com/sauldevlin/me-and-my-goose) and these seem to be the chords for the song (with passing notes to make the melody) yet this is the simple version of the song. Try it out on the guitar, it should work fine.

Eb             C
Me and my goose
G7             Cm
Me and my pal
F#                C#            Bb
We had some very good times
Eb       C
Me and my goose
G7                Cm
His name was Al
F#               Bb       Eb
And he cost only a dime

F7                            Bb
Over meadows we'd stray
Eb             B
Playing all day
F#                   C#             Bb
I missed him at night until dawn

Eb                  C
Then one day I found
G7             Cm
He wasn't around
F#                         Bb                Eb
I wondered where Al could have gone

Eb                C
I looked everywhere
G7                Cm
he just wasn't there
F#                   C#               Bb
Where could a goose be all day
Eb            C
I miss my pal
G7          Cm
I miss my Al
F#                         Bb                   Eb
It's sad that things turned out this way

       F                         Bb
Then mom brought him in
    Eb                B
I remember her grin
F#                     C#                Bb
Stuffed with his feet pointed straight

    Eb          C
I'll never forget
      G7                Cm
The night that we ate
    F#            Bb            Eb
Al off of the old yellow plate
