Hi

We are still struggling to get BT to fix the problem with our phone line.

The main problem we have is trying to get someone to talk to us. We just keep getting passed on to other people and they all keep asking for information we have given several times to several different people.

We keep getting mixed information, some saying the fault lies on our property and others say not.

I have carried out all the checks that they tell me to and nothing changes. Even borrowed a spare phone that we knew worked.

They did divert our landline to my mobile which means I don't miss any important calls. At the moment I am in contact with hospital and medical centre all the time and they phone me regularly.

I have tried to contact them to explain our situation but all they do is point us to somewhere that doesn't help us either.

It is difficult to compose an Email because all there Emails prohibit replying.

I did manage to talk to someone who appeared to understand but all that happened is according to them we now THREE faults.!!!!!

We requested an engineer to come to the premises accepting that if the fault(s) were with our equipment we would pay the call out fee ( about £130).

Yesterday ( when they weren't working) by some mysterious reason the line worked and we are able to use our landline again.

I rang them today informing them of this and tried to cancel the visit of the engineer. Now according to them we now have FOUR faults - none of which according to them are fixed.

Our phone and our broadband ( according to BT I now have a Broadband problem) are now working perfectly. !!! But not according to BT.

Sheeeeesh !!!

Cheers

MikeL2
