For a radio program relating to the surrender of the 51st Highland Division at St. Valery-en-Ceau, June 12, 1940, I am looking for music/song about the event. I know Davy Steele's recent work on the Battlefield Band's "Rain, Hail or Shine" CD. I recall a song that referred to the bombers "dropping their bombs on the (soldiers) who lay on the beaches below - down by St. Valery" but I don't have a source for the words and music. Can anyone help me to find material? Personal accounts would be most welcome as would identification of music and songs.
