I took my guitar out of the room to tune it, returned, waited until singer finished and walked back to the seat next to my guitar case and drink, to be roundly told off for trying to 'jump the queue'. Me being shy I said nothing and waited until the entire room had sung once, and a couple twice by which time the guitar was out of tune with the heat. I bought a tuner.
