I have known Pete since I came onto the folk scene, 30yrs ago, but only became good friends the last 3yrs of his life. I will dearly miss Pete, he was a regular at the weekly session we hold at the Top House, Marske. He would regularly txt me, to see if I was going, and I to him. For I knew if Pete was going, it was gunna be a great night, and it always was! The world has now become a drearier place. Personally I think he was underrated as a singer/songwriter, doing very few guest spots at local clubs. What a lot of people did'nt realise, was how adept he was with the guitar, he had a natural ability to interpret chord progression, with accompaniment, be it reels/jigs/polkas or a slow air. l was privaleged to play with him, on the few gigs we did together. RIP Pete, until we meet again, Len
