Bad car: Vauxhall Viva, late type with breather tube on top of the engine (whoever thought that was a good idea?). Used to fill up with water/oil emulsion and conk out if I went above about 2500 revs. After half an hour it might start again. Eventually went up in spontaneous flames, thank god, I could never have sold it. Good car: funnily enough I had a Marina coupé for about 3 years and never had any trouble with it, or not until I wrote it off.
