OK. .. vacuuming done, small rugs shaken out. I'm at 2500 very sore steps but in schedule.

The NKC gave themselves a new business name today; it was a short and easy, fun project. There are 4 total; today it was the core pair plus a third 6th-grader. After the garage work they piled into the LR and found the mini-toys all the adult visitor have missed (perched on top of picture frames). Played with these on the floor while we conducted a meeting so I could make them a flyer. "Oh yeah we could use at least ten of those!" Name? AWESOME SQUAD, how cool is that! We discussed also that they'd keep an eye on the bulbs and rest of the garden.... would have done it as a free neighborly thing but oh no, I assured them, you get paid for that. I want pictures? No problem. We discussed all the services their flyer should offer. "Housecleaning?" "NO HOARDERS!" That TV program plus one old neighborhood lady have them totally terrified. "No," I said, "I'll put 'light housecleaning. You're free to take a job or decline it. This is just to get people calling you." "We can go look at a place first, and say no thanks?" Babies. I can teach them polite ways to say no thanks.

So I just have the dusting left to do. That vacuum HURTS to run! Ought be a powerchair that sucks up dirt.

My back will never get better. Lot to think about.
