The late, great Stanley Robertson sang this to me one night in a kitchen some place as part of a long rambling story. Afterwards he said ; 'Ye'll forget the story in a day or twa but ye'll have the song wi ye the rest o' yer life." That was over 20 years ago. Once heard, never forgotten. Doo-doo is a dove.
