Thanks everyone for the kind words - and hope to meet you in Tavistock Geoff! As for the name - it is simply a pun on our family name (to be understood as [We are the] Lynched) that we always intended to express solidarity with the persecuted, oppressed and the marginalised the world over. High falutin' stuff to some perhaps, but we have all been active in various anti-racist campaigns here in Dublin for a long time. We have been playing under the name for about 13 years now and have had many different discussions with many different people of many different ethnic and national backgrounds. We choose to keep it because it often brings up discussions such as this where we can clearly state how we stand on such matters! All the best, Ian
