Frodsham Folk Club (Cheshire UK) opened in Jan 1968, and to my knowledge, has been running ever since. Geoff Bibby has been runnig clubs in Warrington since before I met him - around 1970, although I'm not sure if this has been continuous. Can anyone confirm? Not sure how long the Kiveton Park club (Yorks) has been running. I remember playing there a couple of times with The Wakes in the mid/late '70s, and the club wasn't new then. They boast that they never close - even on Christmas Day. John Kelly.
