The Crinan Canal features later in the film. Last time I passed Ardrishaig, (where the main road crosses the canal entrance) the canal basin had a Clyde Puffer (renamed "The Vital Spark"), available for trips on Loch Fyne. Road signs on Islay feature both "The Maggie" and "The Vital Spark" in silhouette.
