My all time favourite genre of movies and TV is the 'Western'. It is a vitally visual genre of big landscapes and skies.. Radio and Books, just can't compete with the medium of TV. .. and although I live in the West of England.. somehow, looking out my window just aint the same as Cinemascope vies of the American West !!! [even though it's mostly filmed in Canada for finance & tax reasons these days...]
