In the early to mid-'70s, Butch and Maeve were the highlight of the summer on Cape Cod. They appeared every season at the Century Club in Falmouth where Jan and Jim Campbell provided Irish entertainment from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Grand times they were. Many a night, Butch and Maeve wound up at our cottage on Round Pond where we all saw the sun come up. Often, everyone took a nap before driving them to their place on Route 28. they were warm and wonderful people and dear friends to all who crossed their path. They are with a lot of the lads now. R.I.P.
