Dorothy Parshall Yet More Clutter's Last Stand - 2016 (374* d) RE: Yet More Clutter's Last Stand Jan - Mar 2016 22 Mar 16

Beaver:
Neglected to mention the bagel/pottery mailing excursion to NYS: de-cluttered wallet, and my mind of wanting to send the sons pottery and bagels. Phone call from #1 today full of thanks and extolling the beauty of the bowls I sent him. He was talking with mouth full of bagel! I will be making more of that style. I also sent family pics to each so that de-clutters me a bit. I know #1 will keep nothing unless he really wants it!

During the drive from Quebec, I watched the clouds in the sky and thought about how to glaze to approximate that. And thought about it today as I was at the Gallery. I am getting some good ideas and need to make a bunch of flattish white bowls to try on. Then saw on FB an incredible plate on which a long ago potter did exactly what I want. Light at the end of the tunnel; experimentation is in my future!

Starting to sort the piles of stuff I brought newly here: a box of stuff I have not seen since it was packed on Whidbey 7 years ago. Some useful objects, some definite keepers, some need to be put away until the other pieces of whatever it is show up!

Tomorrow will be a clearing up day - of stuff I brought and arranging car repairs and getting back into gear re some writing. I found it impossible to think "here" while I was "there". Even failed to email to renew a book here. This is a de-cluttering of the brain - too hard to think of both. Be here now is the idea and then be here now, there!

It is snowing - since 5 pm - so I will not be thinking potting for a few days. Maybe I can re-do those 4 directors chairs.
