I use D'Addario Phosphor Bronze lights. I've tried GHS and John Pearce also. Probably the nicest sounding are Thomastik strings, but I don't feel like paying that much! The D'Addarios sound nice and last well for me. I use them on my '67 000-18 as well as my other guitars that I keep in open G & D. The strings seem to be real versatile, so I don't have to keep a bunch of different sets around for different guitars and tunings.
