We have bunnies a-plenty. We also have red kites, buzzards, magpies, and all manner of other birds of prey. And our cat, who brings in a few a week and maybe consumes others outside. Probably foxes, although we don't often see them, and stoats and weasels. Can only suggest there might have been a major mixamotosis epidemic or something similar - or, like the bunnies in Watership Down, they got wind of some road or building development and moved elsewhere to avoid it?
