"I'm not sure the acts playing Cambridge are aimed at serious enthusiasts for folk." Again, this seems a little unfair. I've never been to Cambridge, but I've just googled their most recent line-up. Here's a few of the names: Christy Moore, Eliza Carthy, Jon Boden, Chris Wood, John McCusker, Michael McGoldrick, Stick in the Wheel, Sam Lee, Kate Rusby, Kila, Breabach, Nancy Kerr... You don't have to like all these particular acts, sure, but I'm curious to know the names that a festival aimed at serious folk acts should be booking in your opinion?
