"Can't hear any music in this thread," I guess the point I was trying to make is that sometimes music is used to sell products it has nothing to do with { Carly Simon's Anticipation and ketchup comes to mind } - and that an artist seems to have so little control over his or her music. Esp when lawyers and managers get involved. The quality - or lack thereof - of Budweiser was not what I wanted discussed. But thread creep is also something we have no control over either. I just hope the Guthries or their foundation are making a buck out of this union of beer and Woodys song. Is it really in the public domain? And as far as the quality of a cold Bud? I doubt Woody would have turned one down. As long as it was cold. But I'm just guessing.
