I am reading a book called, YOU CAN DO IT! by Lauren C. Grandcolas.
It is a book about learning something new and dare to dream.
Every chapter is about learning something new from singing to photography, to writing, aviation, acting, genealogy, travel, with a total of 60 chapters on different subjects.

Chapter 11 is called, "SING YOUR HEART OUT"

The quote by Joan Baez says, "To sing is to love and affirm, to fly and soar, to coast into the hearts of the people who listen."

Another singer, Brenda Bonhomme, soprano and graduate of the Oberline Conservatory and soloist with various chorus and vocal ensembles.
(I am not familiar with this singer but did enjoy her quote.)

"Everybody's voice has a natural sound to it. You don't need to change that - just work with it.

It is an interesting chapter about singing - fundamentals and helpful advise for people who want to pursue singing such as breathe control, musical phrasing, lyrics, meaning, style, diction, etc.
