I have thought for a long time that it was a shame that there isn't a singular personal pronoun that doesn't make assumptions (IT sounds too impersonal, THEY is plural). And a title (if we need one at all). Am I Ms or Mrs - why can't I just be M. To my mind he/she only matter at some times in your life, in your most personal relationships - why is it anyone else's concern.
