As a cowboy singer my ownself I see what a lot of other cowboy singers are playing these days, and the majority seem to favor an almost-in-good-taste abalone-encrusted Martin Dreadnaught. 41's, 42's (like mine) and 45's would appear to be the instruments of choice at cowboy poetry and music gatherings. This says little about "authenticity" of course, but that's what I see mostly.
