We took a couple of grandchildren to see this film yesterday on its first day of general release (UK). Pleasantly surprised to find that the theme tune was an orchestral version of Tom Lewis's "Sailor's prayer". We got a couple of funny looks for singing along! Did not see his name mentioned in the credits though. Am I correct in thinking that the tune is his composition? I was always sure that it was. The film is quite watchable, it has had the story made more "exciting" by making Captain Flint a spy but not a bad job of compressing the book into a film. The railway scenes were even reasonable except that a 1950s paint scheme was on the loco when it was supposed to be 1935 (book set in 1929 originally).
