I don't agree with all of Dick's political views but he is a very principled man. You know what you are going to get at a Dick Gaughan concert and you can choose whether or not to go.

Having said that, I do miss hearing some of the more traditional songs and tunes( Coppers and Brass was a great album)but many of the "purist traddies" weren't keen in the old days either as I recall.

However, it's a good think to have your own views challenged from time to time even if you still don't change your mind in the end.
