Unofficial kick off at the Friday Press Room session -- 4:30 to 9:00. This is a lovely, intimate festival, folks. Attendees will be right in the performers' laps at every venue. The PMFF is based on the British model, bringing the music to the people in the center of Portsmouth, NH -- on the sidewalk in Market Square, in and on the lawns of historic houses, in pubs, and in other intimate performance spaces such as Book & Bar. (Hey! Sea music served up with great food, drink, and BOOKS!) I'll only be there Friday night -- after 17 years I desperately need a break. Way too much stuff in my life right now. Linn
