...and as I've missed him almost every day since, for he coloured my life hugely when I was young, with his songs of Nature and Love, I thought it was a GOOD day today to remember a GOOD man, a writer of some of the most beautiful songs ever, a brilliant musician and a man who cared about the planet, about us, about Nature, with his heart and soul.

He took me out of my teenage bedroom, to fly with his beloved Eagles, over those Catherdral Mountains, and down into the oceans with Jacques Cousteau....

I'd be a poorer person in my nature without John Denver's music and personality surrounding me in my younger days.
