Beaver: "sweat equity as I put down the flooring myself." I am still laughing, with tears, remembering my putting down a small sheet of vinyl flooring - UNDER the bathtub! - with no help at all but ingenuity. Tiles might have been easier was what made me laugh. I was a lot younger then. More laundry today, catching up with stuff that had gotten wet and a bit mildewed. But today is sunny and "warmish". Losing an hour of sun at the end of the day is a nuisance! But tomorrow is predicted to be sunny so anything that does not dry today can just stay out there. In putting something "away", I found the extra clothes pegs which eluded me on Friday! Sheets will soon be dry so I can remake the bed. Also roasted cauliflower and sunflower seeds this am. Since this is the only place I have an oven, I will be taking some with me - back to Quebec on Tuesday in prep for the Yellow Door Coffee House 50th anniversary. Anyone who doubts the effort they put into a folk venue can take heart from my son's comment: Troy Chapman Where did I spend most of the '70s? At The Yellow Door Coffeehouse. Why do I play guitar? Yellow Door. What was my address? The Yellow Door. It was literally my home address for years. I hope you get to hang out someplace that cool someday! This comes under the heading of "things mothers find out years later".
