Houseplants in one large bay window are now tamed after much unraveling of vines. One viney thing was evicted (ants had made themselves at home; they're gone now, but the plant is outside) and though the space is still filled with plants, it looks much better. Vines from the haircut each got are in the compost - there is no need for more of those plants, as easy as they are to propagate. One xmas cactus was repotted - a dicey operation since it will bloom in a month or so. The other was left alone and will be repotted after the bloom (and so I get at least one plant to give a lovely seasonal show!) There are several pots filled with a potting soil mix, in the hopes that some more African violets will find their way to my house.
