I pop in fairly often. They sell guitars a friend makes (Reiner) and I go with him to help him rotate stock etc, as well as occasionally buying instruments anyway. Hugh is very helpful. They have always had sales on. The other year, they were selling off Eastman guitars at half price and I got a good deal. A few months ago, a mandolin at a knockdown price. Obviously they must have a core profitable side or they would have died off years ago. The knockdown prices are nothing new and whilst I have heard of changes in business ownership, I have also heard "going concern" so fingers crossed they remain.
