Trying to explain the phrase "number please" to a kid with a smartphone. Being given a senior citizens discount without being asked. Various spots on various body parts. Realizing that I've lived under 13 presidents... and can remember the death of FDR. A little joke I remember from many years ago. "Junior... your report card says you got a 'D' in History! Why, when I was a kid, I always got 'A' in History!" "Yes, but there wasn't nearly as much of it then!"
